<description>Hello! I have a question regarding this : "Send a copy of your high school diploma or equivalent." Just send a copy of diploma? so I don't have to go to my school in High School to get any documents?

<description>I am a Filipina who graduated in the Phil. on April of 2009, and after taking the Nurses Licensure Exam, I moved to HOuston TX with my mom and stepdad. I applied for CGFNS-CES report as a requirement to sit for NCLEX, and still waiting for my transcript of record sent by my school in the Phil. last September of 2009 to reach the office of CGFNS. It's been 4months since my application, and my mom and stepdad are wondering if there's an agency that could help me get through my application for CGFNS/NCLEX. Thank you very much.

<description>I have already applied for a US immigrant Visa and my priority date is July 6, 2007. At first the processing was really fast but as it was getting close to the issuance of the date of interview it became sluggish---worst, stagnant. Until now I'm still here in the Philippines. All my agency could reply to my emails is “thank you for your patience.” It keeps me wondering if is it my agency that has a problem or am I still affected by the retrogression? It's almost three years since I applied and I can't help but to feel pathetic with my nursing career becoming fruitless.

<description>How To Get A Job In The United States

Job vacancies are advertised in the job portals, newspapers, magazines and employment centers. And if you have positive attitude and try your best you can get a job. But it is always advisable for immigrants and the green card or US visa holders to get a job before entering the country. You cannot say how long you will take to get a job.

Before you apply for a job you should follow some tips and go through proper procedures. First, know yourself where you can be fit well and perform. Go for a job where you can use your acquired skills and you are well adept. If you have some work experience, you should make use of that while applying for a job.

Prepare a resume detailing your educational qualifications, work experience and any special professional skills if you have acquired. You can if you want take the help of a professional resume maker. But it is not a must. You can also prepare your resume. You can see sample resumes in the Internet.

While applying for a job, send the resume along with a cover letter. Also know about the company where you have applied for a job. When you get a call for an interview, make yourself prepared for the general questions like about your past experience and the skills you have acquired.

Also know about US visa, and other requirements which are must to enter the US and work there. You can also apply for the green card or the diversity lottery 2008. Full time students of certain nationalities can apply for a J1 "Exchange Visitor" visa which allows paid work for up to 4 months in virtually any type of job in the US. If you are an H-1B visa holder, you can be allowed to work in the United States. Nurses, math teachers, and computer science professionals are working in the US are in most cases are H-1B visa holders. If you have a B1/B2 visitor visa, you will not be allowed to work in the US.

		<description>RECRUITMENT AGENCIES

What do recruitment agencies do?
A recruitment agency can help you by submitting you for vacancies notified to the agency by employers.
Employers use recruitment agencies in order to
	recruit for a new type of post for which they have no expertise
	minimise publicity when recruiting in one area of work while losing staff in another
	conceal recruitment activities from competitors
	get help with the recruitment process - eg if they don't have enough staff to deal with it
Many agencies specialise in certain types of work, within certain sectors or in particular geographical areas. The employer pays the agency to assist them in filling a particular job. You should not be asked to pay the agency for finding you work - although there will normally be a charge for additional services such as personality testing or preparing a CV. On filling the post, the employer will pay the agency a fee (normally a percentage of the first year's salary). Frequently, the advert will not name the employer.
When registering with agencies remember that the employer is the agency's primary client and not you.
Online recruitment agencies
These online agencies enable you to post your application form on the site for employers to view. You need to check the security of the site, as you are supplying personal information. To find graduate recruitment agencies, use a web search engine to search for 'graduate jobs' or similar. See the DORAS Directory for a list of online agencies in the Republic of Ireland, and Jobs1for agencies in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Staffing and contract agencies
The agency compiles a pool of candidates with qualifications, skills and experience and will supply staff to an organisation for a specific contract (anything from one day to several months). You will be paid by the agency for the hours that you actually work - you are not paid for holidays or sick pay. Employers might use staffing or contract agencies in order to:
	find staff to cover sickness and holidays
	tackle specific projects such as computer system reorganisation
	avoid having unnecessary staff
What are the advantages of using agencies?
	If you're working full-time, the recruitment agency can be working on your behalf while you apply for jobs directly.
	Specialist agencies may be able to offer advice about their sector.
	You can work through staffing and contracts agencies to gain varied short-term experience with several employers.
	You may be able to set up work in advance of arrival in a new town.
General rules for using recruitment agencies
	Supply the agencies with a CV that is targeted towards a particular work sector
	Tell the agency about any important factors - Are there any constraints?
	Tell the agency if you don't want them to send your CV to particular companies such as your present employer!
	Keep chasing the agency for progress - ring or call in on a regular basis
	Don't rely on agencies as your only means of finding a job</description>

<description>that is true, Proponents maintain that minimum nurse-to-patient ratios will yield important benefits for patients and nurses. Policymakers need impartial estimates of the likelihood of realizing the potential benefits of the ratios and estimates of the potential costs of these benefits. A lack of systematic quantitative data on critical variables prevents generation of precise estimates. Nevertheless, existing data provide some important insights.
Proponents also maintain that staffing ratios will help to alleviate the nursing shortage. They believe that working conditions have a large influence on the number of persons willing to practice nursing in hospitals. In their view, minimum staffing ratios would improve working conditions, which would in turn reduce the numbers of nurses leaving hospital positions and the nursing profession. Better working conditions also may attract more young persons to nursing.Increased attention to nursing and rising salaries are already raising interest levels.
